Should I stay with my child during their visit?

You are always welcome to accompany your child, especially during their first visit with us. Over time, we gently encourage parents to allow our team to guide children through their appointments independently. Children often build confidence and trust more naturally in the dental chair when they have a little space to do so, and our team is specially trained to make them feel completely at ease. That said, you are never required to step away, and we will always follow your lead.

Children who are not being treated should remain in the waiting room under adult supervision to ensure privacy and comfort for all of our patients.

When is payment due?

Payment is due at the time of service. We accept cash, debit cards, Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express. We also offer flexible payment plans through CareCredit for families who need additional support managing costs. Please do not hesitate to speak with our team about payment options before your appointment.

How do I schedule an appointment?

You can reach us by phone or through the contact form on our website. We do our best to accommodate your family’s schedule and will work with you to find a time that fits.

For our youngest patients, morning appointments tend to work best as children are typically more relaxed and cooperative earlier in the day. For school age children with more involved treatment, morning appointments are also our preference for the same reason. Dental appointments are considered an excused absence, and we are happy to provide documentation if your school requires it.

We ask for at least 48 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. Appointment times are reserved exclusively for your child, and advance notice allows us to offer that time to another family in need of care. We understand that life happens and truly appreciate your consideration.

Understanding Your Dental Insurance

We are happy to file claims on your behalf as a courtesy to our families. To do so accurately and promptly, we ask that you provide complete and up to date insurance information before your appointment and notify us of any changes to your coverage or employment.
A few things that are helpful to understand about dental insurance:
Dental insurance is designed to assist with the cost of care, not cover it entirely. Most plans pay between 50 and 80 percent of fees, depending on your specific policy and employer contract.

Insurance companies set their own fee schedules and allowable amounts independently of our office. If your plan pays less than our fee for a given service, it reflects your plan’s benefit level, not an overcharge on our part.

Deductibles and co-payments affect your out of pocket costs and should be factored into any estimate we provide. We will always do our best to give you a clear picture of expected costs before treatment begins, though we cannot guarantee what your insurance will ultimately pay.
Any balance remaining after insurance payment is due within 30 days. Balances unpaid after 60 days will accrue a 1.5 percent monthly rebilling fee. If your insurance overpays and a refund is owed to you, we will issue it promptly.

If you have questions about your coverage or a specific treatment, please call us before your appointment. We would rather have that conversation early than have you surprised at checkout.
